A debate on the recent crisis held by the UN Security Council and a senior Russian diplomat Vasily Nebenzya issued a warning message for Ukraine in this debate. He said Ukraine will be accountable for its own devastation after the disruption of the existing peace agreement. Point to be noted that Nebenzya is a permanent representative to the United Nations. His comments came during continuous top-level diplomatic talks, designed to overcome the increasing Ukraine crisis.

US Concerns Over Ukraine Crisis

The Washington administration said the US earlier received an answer from the Kremlin regarding a document. This document was delivered to Moscow by the US administration last week. The Biden administration also pointed out specific areas where the US suggests both countries could settle on an agreement. However, US officials rejected to disclose the details of this document because they believe it cannot be discussed in the public.

The Russian state news agency RIA also reported that the Russian administration had forwarded follow-up questions instead of a reaction, while Moscow was still considering a backlash.

Moreover, a Conservative backbencher also challenged the UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson for his attempt over publishing the full report on Downing Street parties. The UK Deputy Prime Minister Dominic Raab said it was still unconfirmed if there was any other proof to come.

A Message from Ukrainian President

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has cautioned that any type of military conflict with Russian forces could initiate a large-scale war.

He was speaking on Tuesday after a meeting with UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson. Ukrainian President said any confrontation with Russian armed forces could badly affect entire Europe. He said Russia has gathered at least 100 thousand troops along with the Ukrainian border.

Zelinsky said there might be an unfortunate tragedy after the advancement from Russia against his state. So, it shouldn’t be considered a war between Russia and Ukraine. This war could capture entire Europe with full-scale war because nobody is looking to give up their people and territories.

Ukrainian President also signed a bill to enhance the numbers of Ukrainian armed forces. It is expected to increase by 100 thousand troops over the next 3 years, including a plan to increase their salaries.

President Zelenskyy said this bill was designed not because the country is expecting to have a war but to maintain the peace in Ukraine. The army of Ukraine was outranked by Russia in terms of military equipment and manpower.

War is not the Solution

It is noteworthy that Ukraine is not a European Union member or a NATO’s military ally. But the country has a pro-Western administration. The US, EU, and NATO are taking an interest to stop being involved in the circle of Russia by force.

Most of the Western countries were massively slammed over their inability to make power decisions against Russia after it pulled Crimea from Ukraine in 2014. Experts also shared their concerns that Russia is increasing the number of troops along with the Ukrainian border over an expected invasion from Ukraine.

However, Russia has frequently said it doesn’t aim plans to attack Ukraine. But Russia has plans to defend its own security interests. The country is expecting the development of the Western military on its doorstep, especially in Eastern Europe.
