On Tuesday, the White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany defended the baseless allegations of Trump during a press briefing. She claimed Scarborough himself quipped about the allegations during a media interview in the 2000s. Moreover, the former Acting Inspector General of the Department of Defense, Glenn Fine has resigned after he was sidelined by the Trump administration in his efforts to oversee congressional spending the coronavirus relief funds. The Press Secretary of White House, Kayleigh McEnany appeared to defend Trump on Tuesday for his repeatedly pushing a conspiracy theory that Joe Scarborough murdered a former staff member in 2001. It is noteworthy that a widower is calling on Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey to remove tweets posted by President Donald Trump and his allies promoting an exposed conspiracy theory.

He claimed that his wife was murdered by former congressman-turned TV personality Joe Scarborough. The husband of Lori Klausutis formerly worked for Scarborough during his time in office. He wrote in an open letter to Dorsey that false tweets from the president must be removed as they are false and in violation of the platform’s policies. He wrote, “My request is simple. Please delete these tweets”. McEnany referenced a years-old interview in which the former Florida GOP congressman is joking with the then-MSNBC morning show host Don Imus about his new evening show on the network. Imus also said that Scarborough had sex with the intern so you had to kill her.

Scarborough added during a Tuesday press briefing and said, “What are you gonna do”? McEnany was asked questions about Trump pushing the conspiracy theory discovered almost 20-years ago by local police. The agency then confirmed the death in an accident and mentioned it as Scarborough, now the host of MSNBC’s morning show. He should answer for the staff member’s death. President Trump earlier suggested several times that the former Florida House member was responsible for the death of Lori Klausutis. It is noteworthy that the conspiracy theory was first pushed by left-wing opponents of Scarborough. Now, he has been picked up by Donald Trump because the morning show host of MSNBC is a leading critic of US President Donald Trump.
