Intel had planned to release its advanced Arc-powered laptop GPUs at the end of March 2022. But a seller posted a product page that went viral on a social platform. A Twitter user shared a product page on a US retailer’s website ‘B&H Photo Video’.

However, the online retailer quickly added details then deleted the entire information. The page showed a 12th-generation Intel Ultrabook with an Arc graphics card, the Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro. The seller unintentionally posted an Arc-powered computer before the release date of the new lineup.

The product page on B&H Photo Video pointed out a 15.6-inch Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro for sale at $1,350. It featured an Intel Arc graphics chip, a 12th-generation Intel Core i7 processor, and 16GB of 6400 MHz LPDDR5 memory.

Team Blue Will Announce Arc A370M

The listing was considered a mistake because the product page was removed just after the surfaced news. The accidentally posted listing of an Intel Arc-powered laptop appeared with another upcoming device. The page also listed the lineup of the Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro series featuring 12th-generation Intel chips.

Intel

Intel’s Team Blue announced last week that it has planned to launch the Arc Alchemist GPUs on March 30, 2022. The upcoming launch is expected to happen in a special event with the title, ‘A New Stage of the Game’. The early announcement confirmed the first laptop with the new cards is the Galaxy Book 2 Pro.

However, Intel has received hype for continuously halting the release of their developed graphics cards. Experts believe the desktop lineup of the company will hit the market at the end of May or in Mid-June. Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro is expected to have an Intel Arc A370M-powered processor.

VP Lisa Pearce Confirms Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro

The vice president Lisa Pearce also confirmed that Galaxy Book 2 Pro will first hit the market. The company has designed the Arc A370M for lightweight and thin laptops. It significantly offers almost double the performance of Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics without the heavy power consumption and heating issues.

Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro is just 2.5 pounds, which is undoubtedly suitable for a 15.6-inch laptop with an advanced GPU. The new innovation could provide more exciting experiences for those seeking gaming performance laptops.

Moreover, a news outlet pointed out on March 15 that Intel will finally launch its Arc GPUs on March 30, 2022. The launch event will mark the Arc GPU to arrive first for laptops before expanding to desktops in the 2nd quarter. Intel plans to introduce the mobile family GPUs of the Arc A-series at an event on 30th March.

A370M Arc GPU will Support Metro Exodus

The company will start release with a discrete graphics processor labeled the A370M. Pearce also said the A370M offers up to a 2x performance enhancement compared to Intel’s integrated graphics. The A370M offers double the frame rates at 1080p settings when playing the game Metro Exodus.

Pearce added that you will get higher performance configurations on Intel Arc graphics for both laptop and desktop devices. It would increase performance levels for developers and gamers. The Arc GPUs represent Intel’s first punch at specific gaming graphics cards in more than 20 years.

The application compatibility is more crucial for most users and it would enable them to run all applications. The company has also planned to publish the number of games supported with each GPU model. It would provide 1080p or 1440p resolution with high or medium-quality settings.
