A Facebook page “The People’s Voice” published a video on 17th February 2016 supposedly showing the artificial synthetic cabbages were being made in just 40 seconds in China and supposed to be delivered to grocery stores in the near future. This specific clip was presented with a title “Fake Cabbage in Market” involving a man using colored fluids into a large sized bowl of water. This colored liquid was shaping into a artificial cabbage and then man sliced crosswise the produced cabbage as it was looking much similar to the real cabbage. The displayed video was purportedly showing Korean man and a specific logo of Seoul Broadcasting System (SBS). The video clip indicated that this artificial cabbage will not delivered from China to the U.S.

There was another video mentioning more perfectly about the process in making artificial cabbage only used for display purposes in the restaurants of Japan. An article was published in 2014, this article provided extra material of “Fake Food” videos purportedly misrepresenting on most of the social media websites. The article also added a video specially presented for English-speaking audiences presenting more dangerous fake or artificial food items produced in China allegedly make to deliver in the American markets. There are various similar claims regarding China’s eatable export items such as soya sauce was being made from human hair, Chinese garlic is sprayed with some dangerous pesticides and Chinese corned beef was being made from corpses.
