Live-Streaming Suicide Death Video of a Georgian Girl

A distressing video circulated on social media supposedly showing a live-streaming by a young girl of her suicide death by hanging. The local media reported and identified the child as 12-years old Katelyn Nichole Davis, resident of Polk County, Georgia. But, we were unable to reach the authorities investigating this case. The Polk County Standard Journal reported that the dead body of Davis was discovered on 30th December 2016. It was also said that she was discovered from outside her home with Self-inflicted Wounds. She was transferred to a nearby hospital with critical injuries, but the staff of emergency department was unable survive her. She left her parents, sisters and brothers in a deep sorrow. Her funeral ceremony will take place on 6th January 2017.

The alleged video connected to this suicide incident has been posted on social media. This video shows that a girl (reportedly Davis) was setting up a camera, making a rope and tying it to a tree. But, prior to further action, she tearfully apologized to a number of people and talked about her hopeless feelings with deeply depression. This video was appeared to show her hanging on most social media websites. But, it was still unclear that how many people were watching her live-stream video and whether anyone called for help. The spokesperson of Polk County Police Department, Kristen Hearn informed that investigations are on its way and investigators have obtained search warrants for her Facebook and other social media accounts and the phone of Davis.
