At least 15 People Killed and 45 Injured in Tokyo, Japan

A number of news outlets reported that at least 15 people were killed and more than 45 were injured during an attack using knife by a man at a facility dedicated for the disabled people in a small town Sagamihara, located outside the Tokyo, Japan. The suspect went to police office and presented himself to arrest. The reports indicated that the suspect was working at the mentioned facility and the police statement mentioned the he targeted people having disabilities. All the victims were at the facility for the disabled people in the city of Sagamihara. The facility was providing a full-time special care for their disabled patients.

The Japanese media has reported that the Police Department in Sagamihara, Kanagawa Prefecture is located about 25 miles at the southwest of Tokyo city has arrested 20-years old man. The reports indicated that staff at the facility called police at 2:30 am (Japanese local time) and reported that a man armed with a knife is present on the grounds of the Tsukui Yamayuri Garden facility. Kyodo indicated that the suspect went to police station and presented himself to arrest. Asahi Shimbun also reported that police issued statement of suspect; he said “I want to finish all disable people from this world”. It was confirmed that 15 people were killed and 4 were in a state of cardiac arrest, and 45 people were also injured in this attack.
