Was the Father of Orlando Nightclub Shooter Invited at the Rally of Hillary Clinton?

The former governor of Alaska & Republican candidate for vice presidential election 2008 Sarah Palin tweeted a link of an article on 9^th August 2016 and reported that Hillary Clinton invited (Siddique Mateen) father of Orlando Nightclub shooter (Omar Mateen) in her rally in Florida. It is important that Siddique Mateen attended the rally of Hillary Clinton. This article favorably declared that the presence of Siddique Mateen was due to that he was invited in Florida by the Democratic National Committee (DNC) in order to attend the rally. The Palm Beach television WPTV asked from Siddique Mateen about the invitation on the campaign of Hillary Clinton.

Point to be noted that Mateen didn’t mention about the invitation, but he said that it is a Democratic Party event and anyone has the right to join it. Another news outlet contacted the Clinton campaign organizers about the rumor after the presence of Siddique Mateen at the Kissimmee event. The organizers said that Mateen wasn’t invited as a guest and the campaign organizers were unaware about his participation until he joined the event. The presence of Mateen at the Clinton campaign and appearance at the rally explained that the event was open to the public. But, the party refused that any kind of invitation issued to him or he accepted such invitation. We were unable to find specific information that Mateen was originally invited as a guest instead of a general member from the public.
