The concurrence of two galactic events would bring a wonderful appearance on 14th November 2016. There would be the “Supermoon” (largest full moon) and it will be appeared since Harry S. Truman was the President of United States. The term “Supermoon” has become famous in the recent years. Basically, it is a term taken from modern astrology used for a Full Moon. It happens when the moon reaches within 90% to its nearest approach to Earth within its orbit. Nowadays, Supermoon universally refers to a Full Moon closer to our Earth than its average. The two events would meet to create the sighting experience of a Supermoon. The 1st event would be the presence of a Full Moon as it normally occurs after every 29.53 days. The 2nd event would be the closest approach of moon to Earth as it normally occurs after every 27.32 days.

Point to be noted that orbit of moon around Earth is an elliptical shape. There are various events when our lunar companion is closest to Earth and it is called “Perigee”. So, Perigee will occur on 14th November 2016 at 6:00 am Eastern time. After just 2 hours, the moon would be in its full size for making a wonderful event of Supermoon. It is important that Full Moon of 14th November is not only the closest moon of 2016, but it would be the closest full moon of the 21st Century. It will not be happened again until 25th November 2034. The Moon will be visible at 14-30 percent bigger, but it depends on your location of view. The viewers on the East Coast will supposedly miss view the peak of Supermoon, but viewers on the West Coast will be able to view its full glory. CNN also indicated that viewers in Eastern North America and Europe will be able to see the best view on the night of 13th November 2016.
