The government of Canada has recently experienced the stirring up online security threat. But, it wasn’t much severe attack that it could be. So, the government officials immediately took down some key portions of 2 Canadian government websites. The first one was the Tax-related “Canada Revenue Agency” and other was “Statistics Canada”. The step was taken by the Canadian government after monitoring that some unauthorized elements hacked the “Statistics Canada” website. The hackers took advantage of recent susceptibility in the software of Apache web server, which allowed them to get in. But, the website “Canada Revenue Agency” wasn’t hacked, but it shared the similar susceptibilities. So, the Canadian government decided to bring down its pages, especially the online filing & payment systems as a safety measure during applying strips.
